After this little guy is born I'll have a few weeks off and then it's back to work for me. Now the big question is what do I do with the baby?
We thought we had a childcare thing worked out. A girl we used to go to church with started an at home daycare. We thought he would be able to go there which was great because it's close to our house, but turns out she won't have a spot for a baby that small come January or February.
So, now we are stuck with no real options.
Does anyone know of any good ones? We would prefer to have him not at a typical daycare and the closer it is to Oklahoma City the better. Driving deep into Edmond just isn't a very doable thing for us, unless it's the only option. I have found an older lady that used to watch some other Channel 4 kids, but I don't know if she is watching babies anymore, and I've never met her. A situation like that would be ideal though.
Right now we are open to any suggestions of good childcare. Please help!

My sister in law is having a baby in October, and is going to watch babies starting then. She is just now putting the word out about accepting babies. Let me know if you want her number. She lives north of 33rd a couple of blocks. She's great!
The only great ones I know of are in Edmond.
Are you guys back from your vacation? Sorry I don't know of any sitters - to be honest, maybe I could watch him! I'd have to see how everything goes but I might be open to that.
Hey Chellie! I actually know someone who would love to watch a new baby! My sister-in-law watches kids and has been asking if I knew anyone with kids needing someone. She is at home, was a nanny from like birth to 3 for 2 kids (then they moved here from Texas), is great with little ones, and is close to you! She lives on 15th near Portland. Let me know if you want more info on her--she watches Kaija and is great!

Sorry I don't have any options for you. All my resources are in Yukon. I had my first in a daycare for 5 days and couldn't stand it. I pray you have a better experience than me.
Chel, I will be a stand in until you get things worked out...I can drive to your house if you'd like. I will have Landon with me, but he is my easy going one and I'll bring a busy bag with me for him...what hours are you thinking.
