The life of a reporter...

Just looking through the photo album on my phone and realized the crazy things I have pictures of due to my job.

Sure there are lots of photos of storm damage which I've shown before...

But, the life of a reporter involves affidavits, photos of dead people (not bodies, but photos we can show on TV), photos of supects, and various other things that the typically citizen probably wouldn't want to see.

I think this guy is a suspect in a home break in where a teen girl was beat up a few months ago -- 

This is the affidavit from last week's quadruple homicide. I did have photos of the victims and even of the suspect holding the baby but I deleted those because it was too much.

So there you go... a glimpse inside my job. For the record, the affidavit is actually public record. You can get them at the courthouse. This one is sad, but really tame compared to a lot of the other ones I've seen.
