Baby Girl

Friday was my "big" ultrasound where we checked baby's brain, heart, thigh bone, etc to make sure everything was going as it should. We also confirmed baby is a GIRL!!

I was considered high risk with Brixton because I had excess amniotic fluid. Then I went into labor at 32 weeks and he was born at 34 weeks 6 days. All of that means I'm high risk this time too. In fact, this time the dr wants me on progesterone shots. I took progesterone for the first 14 weeks as sort of a reaction to my miscarriage last year. I'm supposed to start the shots next week.

Here's a 3D photo of our little girl. There's some goo floating around her which is totally normal but tends to look weird, or make it look like she has holes in her abdomen.

And because I love a good comparison... here is Brixton's first 3D ultrasound photo compared to baby girl's first photo. I think they look similar but that their noses look different. Who knows. At this stage they are both so skinny it's hard to tell much about how they will look.
Confession: I have yet to take even one photo of myself/my belly. I'm planning to change that today or tomorrow. We'll see.

Also, we have a name but I'll post that later. If you want to know the name just check Nate's post on Facebook. But I figure I'll blog about the significance of the name later.
