So, here is one update on what's been going on lately.. A week ago (fortunately before the really cold weather) we got an entirely new heating and air conditioning system.. new ducts and all..
Out with the old.. and finally in with the new.
We found out our old heater was about 30 + years old.
And in with the new.. Thanks One Hour Air Conditioning for giving us a good deal.
This next picture is not new.. it's actually our old duct work.. isn't that distgusting!!
It really is true that you can negotiate anything these days.. Nate and I think we are getting pretty good at it.. We managed to get all of this for $33 dollars less than what just the heater and air conditioner usually cost.. That sounds pathetic, but when you consider we basically got thousands of dollars in duct work for free... plus another few hundred dollars off these other pieces we needed .. we came out doing pretty well. When it was all said and done we ended up getting the entire system for about 50% off.Now, on to the next project.. leveling our house.. Why is being a grown up so darn expensive???
