8 Months and Tubes

I was beginning to wonder what happened to this happy little guy.
Brixton had tubes put in his ears this morning. He has had an ear infection/fluid in his ears non-stop since his six month check up. Poor kid. So, after 4 antibiotics there was still fluid in his ears. No infection just fluid. It only took about 10 minutes and then we took him home. He didn't really cry until we were about half way home then he had this very sad cry. We couldn't handle it so Nate got in the backseat with him for the rest of the drive.

Today Brixton is also 8 months old!!! Tomorrow he will have been out of my tummy as long as he was in there (according to my original due date).

He is so big. He says da-da and can make sounds for n and r. He's trying hard to crawl, but can only go backward right now. He says nona to me, Nate thinks he's trying to say mama.

We still can't make it through church, and he usually doesn't make it all the way through Bible class. Hopefully we'll get there soon.
He's been very attached to me lately. Part of it is that he hasn't been feeling well. Just the fact that I'm typing this while he plays is an improvement. For the past several days he hasn't let go of me. He's also gone from sleeping really well to waking up for two hour increments, screaming. Not fun. Hopefully the tubes help him sleep better.

He's also working on a tooth. He has a hole on the left (I think) side, front, bottom where I guess a tooth is coming through. I never knew a hole would appear before the tooth???? Hmm.
