Big Changes Ahead

Nope, not pregnant. Though it seems like everyone around me is and I'm actually sometimes a little sad that I'm not. Although, not sad enough to try and join the crowd.

Starting this Sunday morning you can catch me EVERY Sunday on NewsChannel 4 Sunday Morning. That's right, in case you didn't catch my note in the last post or my FB status updates I am the new AM anchor on Sunday mornings!!

I also have to produce the show, which will be a lot of work and which means I have to come in even early than my normal weekday routine (and you thought 4 a.m. was early)! However, I'm really excited! The shows (yup two of them) are from 6am-7am and then from 8am-9:30am.

This Sunday will be my first official day. It's likely going to be crazy since Nate and I will be in Tulsa the rest of the weekend hanging out with old college friends.

I've had a lot of people assume this means I won't be on during the week anymore, that's just not true. I still have to get my 40 hours in. My new schedule is Sunday - Thursday. I'll stay on my normal schedule the rest of the week. On Friday's Brittany (Baldy)Hlubek will be taking my place. She's currently the "social media" gal on Rise and Shine.

I will be off on Friday and Saturday and I'm super excited about that.. maybe now I can actually hang out with other moms.. Oh and on Sunday's I get off in time for Bible class, I'm just likely to look a little exhausted. Looks like we will be switching from early service to late service.

As for a baby.. no time soon, at least not that we're planning. Sometimes God has other plans. We decided this year we would buy a house or have a baby.. so we bought a house.

Ha, your last sentence made me laugh. "Buy a house or have a baby...so we bought a house." Well said. :) It's okay to not be pregnant. There is plenty of time for that and there are times when it's just not the best case scenario. Hooray for being responsible parents. I'm looking forward to many Friday playdates. Next Friday, right?!
