That's just one of Brixton's many new favorite things to say. I LOVE this age!!
He loves playing with any type of truck, train or ball and then throwing them and saying, "Boom, Crash."
He's all boy, which may explain this next picture. It looks worse than it was.
He fell while I was watering my plants. It was just a scrape, but it was a little swollen. He cried briefly and I couldn't even see the scrape, but then he stopped crying and looked at me and I almost freaked out because he was bleeding. So we bought him some cool bandaides, because if you have an owie like that you need Lightning McQueen on your head (and both fingers up your nose). It still looks like he has a bump on his head, but I promise it's just a natural ridge that everyone is apparently noticing now. I told Nate that I'm getting a little paranoid about it since people keep pointing it out and that maybe I should have his doctor look at it.. Nate thinks I'm weird.
Brixton has gotten really good at praying before meals. We were at Alfredo's Wednesday and they brought chips out. Nate and I both grabbed one and he looked at us and put his little hands together. So, we stopped and prayed. Then last night at dinner I said, "Are you ready to pray." And he said, "Ready to pray." My heart melted. He even bowed his little head for a moment. And he LOVES to say, "ma-men," and usually yells it out before Nate says it.
I love the next picture! It's from the 4th of July. He's saying, "Cheese." He says it but always looks anywhere BUT at the camera.

It's cool to wear your underwear over your clothes, right? Brixton found these and really wanted to put them on.. so there ya go.

He's really interested in the potty. He's never gone on the potty, but is getting really good at telling me when he's poopy, usually moments after he's gone. He stared a new daycare and is in with the two year olds. Several of them are potty trained or training and his teacher said he seems really interested and always claps for the other kids.. He says, "Yay! Poopy!"

What's a boy without John Deere boots? and car pajamas?
Some other things he says: C'mon, ByeBye Seeya, puppy NO, outside, sky, blue, yesh (with a big nod), sowwy (he rubs your face and then kisses you)
He sleeps with Elmo and a brown blanket and doesn't really relax until he has both. He kisses Elmo and wants us to kiss him too. In the morning he hands us Elmo and then the blanket before we can pick him up.
He lets us read different books now. For a long time we could only read, "The Pout Pout Fish," which is really cute but I know it by heart now. He likes a book with both Elmo and Grover and Nate reads it to him using both character voices. It's really funny to listen to.
We were at the AT&T store yesterday and this little boy came up and was talking to Brixton like they were the same age, afterall Brixton was bigger than this kid. Well, I asked how old he was and the kid's mom said he was almost THREE! She asked about B and I said he won't be two until October and her mouth dropped.. Yup, my kid is huge. A linebacker in the making I guess. (I snuck a picture of him by that kid while they watched TV)

That picture also shows his newest haircut. We really just wanted it trimmed in the back and around his ears, but it's pretty short, I think it had to be because he wiggled so much there's no way the guy could have kept it even.
Oh, and remember
these babies, and
here they are again. We all got together for a zoo trip a couple of weeks ago. It's been a while since we had a group picture.

In other news, I am moving into the Sunday morning anchor position at Channel 4 which means my days off are now Friday and Saturday. I'm really excited to have a weekday off so maybe I can be a part of more playdates!

Boys are so fun. I am having a hard time telling my son to let go of the handful of bloody feathers he found outside this morning. It's like the thing got plucked or something....I don't know. No more mother/son nature walks for me!
