The Key To Project Motivation

Is inviting people over! It seems when we have people coming over things start happening. Maybe I should invite people over more often!!
Last time I wrote about our hall project I showed you this picture...
We painted and added a chalkboard wall... which Brixton has loved. However, I showed these frames and left it off there.

Since then I have sanded -- and painted those frames.

I also made a picture with our handprints. Well, they've sat in the hall, leaned against that wall for a while now. Tonight we are having our Qgroup over for dinner and so yesterday things got done.
Meaning, the pictures were hung up.
And I LOVE IT!!
The frames are all a little different but all hold the same size picture. They are eventually all going to be filled with Brixton's art work (or ours). We may add a couple more. I bought the frames for 1/2 off an already super low price at Goodwill.

Some other hallway changes since the last post -- well really just one. We painted part of Brixton's door with chalkboard paint. It now has his name written on the door.

And in case you didn't go back to the old post -- here's the wall across the hall from the new "art" wall.
Brixton loves the chalkboard and knows exactly which wall he is allowed to draw on.
We also hung up pictures in our bedroom over our bed. I didn't take a picture because the bed wasn't made. Maybe another time. Just imagine, three white frames filled with pictures of our favorite kiddo.
So, who wants to come over next week? I'm sure there are a few more projects that need to get done.
