Recent Happenings of Brixton

We had a great time at the Cowboy BBQ at church. I love that our church puts things like this on!

He has also started swimming lessons, which he HATES. He has only gone once so I'm really hoping this week is better.

He hates it because the first thing his teacher did was tell them to bob their heads under water. This kid has NEVER liked getting his face wet. He cries in the bathtub if we get water on his face. We have tried to help him get over the fear or whatever it is but no luck. He did eventually jump off the edge to his teacher. I also bribed him in the tub this week to put his face in the water, but it still took a good 5 minutes. Fortunately, this kid loves bananas so they are a good bribe.

Easter weekend we went to my mom and dad's house. Brixton and I rode one of the horses together. He said, "Momma, I didn't know you were a cowgirl!"

I grew up riding. We pretty much had horses since I was 2 or 3.

This is actually my niece's horse. B loved it because he said, "Kings always ride white horses." And he had a crown therefore he was a king.

And then Easter Sunday. He picked this outfit out from Target and then refused to wear it. Nate and he had quite the battle apparently. He thought he looked funny. I did finally get this one picture. Oh, and he ripped a hole in the crotch of this suit by the end of Bible class. He's 4 so I didn't really worry about it.
