8 months already. I cannot believe how fast, yet how slow time has gone. I don't know who said, "the days are long, but the years are short," but they were so very right. Some of those days (OK, nights) are very long when you add growth spurts, teething, ear infections, and on and on, but this little girl really is a joy.
She is getting so active - as I'm sure you can tell in these photos where her arms are blurred and she's obviously squirming.

So, I was never a Seinfeld fan, but Nate was and so therefore I have seen this specific episode. Ila did this pose and Nate immediately thought of George Costanza. Can't unsee that can ya..
We've figured out this is her teething face. We thought she was just making a silly face, but then she stopped and this week we've thought she was teething again an sure enough this and some other little funny faces have returned.
She's been sleeping better. We had her bed propped at an angle after she was diagnosed with RSV. Nate thought the prop was getting a little uncomfortable so we took it out and sure enough she slept through the night! She prefers to sleep on her tummy with her face buried in her bed. It makes me super nervous but she seems to breathe just fine.
Her hair is really filling in and getting long. I can actually put a bow in it without needing the headband. Although she has also learned to pull the bow out.
She is mostly a happy baby with lots of smiles and giggles. Brixton still adores her. We'll see how he feels when she can crawl and get all of his stuff.
Lastly, I cut this little video together of the day she was born. We let Brixton meet her before anyone else. I adore these moments.
