Mother's Day morning Nate got the kids up and ready early and stopped by the station. He said he was trying to get there before my 8:00 show started but he got there right at 8:00. So, of course, I let Brixton be on TV with me.
Nate stood off set with Ila. Sure, it would have been cute for her to be on too, but she tends to suddenly get very hungry when I hold her after not seeing her for a few hours and so I opted to avoid anything super awkward on TV.
They brought me breakfast, hot chocolate and presents.

I managed to get a day off during a ratings month to go with Brixton's class on a field trip. We had a great time.
And just for fun... a little comparison. People always say these two look so much alike. Here they both are around 8 months. Brixton's hair was already so blonde. Ila's really isn't. I'm not sure what color her hair is yet. Sometimes it's brown. Sometimes it looks red. We'll see when it gets a little longer.
