Fear

This brings me comfort:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

That is just a portion of a well-known prayer.. It's called the Serenity Prayer.

At times like this I just think of this verse: "Thank you for making me wonderfully complex." Psalm 139:14 (NLV)

You are in our prayers. I struggle with wanting others to think our lives are perfect, too. That is one reason I post mostly positive stuff on our blog. I am having a hard time getting Cole back in order. Prayers for us, too:).

You are not perfect, but with Christ you have the hope of a perfect eternity, and so do those kids!!! You can not control what she chooses, but you can pray that the children be removed from the situation, and that God watch over them.

You all are in our prayers!

Chellie, Thank you for being willing to share this. What a powerful post. The way you are prayerful and aware of your co-dependency is an encouragement to me. I will pray for your sister and your family.

Your sister and her family are in our prayers. God will watch over this whole situation and protect those little babies. It's so hard to watch kids suffer due to adults mistakes.
