This is my Grandma Hern (she would probably cuss at me for posting this picture), my mom's mom. She is having open heart surgery coming up in December. Please pray that she will come through ok.
She is the only grandma Nate and I have left. I don't spend nearly enough time with her, but I really love and respect her for who she is and all that she has lived through.
This picture was taken last month at her 80th birthday party. Doesn't she look great for 80!! She never dies her hair either.

Let us know when she has a surgery date. Wow, she does look great for 80. I wonder what she has used on her skin all these years!?

Good thinking Chellie, I need to do the same thing on my blog. (I think she does dye her hair though--we need to ask her) but she' the youngest 80-year-old I know!
