Is it a boy or a girl?

I think it's really weird for people to ask if we want a girl or a boy. I don't think it matters what we want. God is already forming this child in my belly and I have no control over the outcome. I really don't care which one.. I know I know that's so generic to say.
So far most people have told me they think I'm having a girl. Only one person has said she thinks it's a boy.
According to some chinese predictor it's a girl.. the heartbeat was high which I'm told also means it's a girl. Some other predictor said it's a boy.

Though I'm trying not to really get my mind set on any certain gender because I don't want to find out it's the other and think, "oh, but I was certain it was a ___."

Here's what I think about each:

I think girls are great because they have really cute clothes and bows and all sorts of girly stuff. My sisters have always said I will have boys because I'm the only one who knows how to fix hair and put on make-up. I think a girl is great for Nate because they always love dad, but I dread teenage years with a girl. Boys on the otherhand seem so much easier. Fashion seems much less important, you don't have to pay for their entire wedding, sure their insurance is higher but they tend to really love and care for their moms. I would probably know how to care for a girl better simply because there are mostly girls in my family, although I do have two nephews now and they are fun too.

So, when it comes down to it I'll be happy with a boy or a girl. We're just hoping and praying that everything goes well for the next six months.

Amen. I read in a book that boys are WAY easier to take care of than a girl...but why is girl stuff just so darn cute???

I dunno...girls are easier to potty train normally. Boys seem to get dirtier, climb more, destroy toys, etc!! Mine are both rotten eggs at times and angelic angels at others! I'm sooo scared for teenage years with both of them!

I think both are great blessing and I can't imagine life without either. I think aftering having both, personality depends more than gender!

The gender predictors as well as everyone's opinion was that I would have a girl. His heartrate was also high which old wives tale says is girl. I definitely have a boy!! I have to say that if I had a girl I would be broke. I LOVE having a boy. He is so much fun! You are right, all that matters is a healthy baby. You will love it no matter what the gender is. Being a mommy is so much fun!
