This is a sad/sweet story I just heard.
Lance West was just telling us about his 90 something year old grandma's passing away last week.
She lived at a nursing home in Colorado. He said they were singing that old song When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder. Right after she sang, "When the roll is called up yonder I'll be there," she fell asleep and that was it.
I thought that was such an incredible little story. I have to admit I questioned his sincerity because Lance likes to joke around, but he assures us all this story is true.
By the way, I just want to say how much I enjoyed Mark and Stafford's lesson last night on the end of days. It was so interesting, it made me want to go buy one of Stafford's books and read up on everything he had to say. If you weren't there you should totally download the podcast, if they have one.

We had the same experience with my husbands grandma. We sang for several hours. After everyone went home they put in a gospel CD. I don't know the exact song but it was one about heaven that was playing when she past. It was an awesome thing to experience. It is wonderful when you know the person has gone to be with God.
