One of the things in our house people always comment on is our dining room light. I love the light -- and I love even more that it was pretty affordable considering the cost of most light fixtures.
I actually blogged about it back when we purchased it in 2011. The light came from IKEA.

WOW! I cannot believe how different it is now.

I also love that the new ceiling means the light is centered when before it was just in a more convenient location off center. Now there is so much room to actually move around the table. We may even be able to fit one of those sidebar things in there eventually.
