End of Preschool Program

A couple of weeks ago we went to Brixton's end of the year program for school. I did record it, but I can't find the cord to connect our camera to the computer. I do have these pictures though. This is the 3, 4 and 5 year olds.. basically preschool-PreK.
He loves being on stage! He also waves at us often. They sang songs about the days of creation and in between each song would say, "ooooh, that's good!."

Below is Ms. Klade. She is his preschool teacher. We don't know her well, but she has done an AMAZING job with this kid! He went from basically only knowing the letter "B" to being able to spell his name, draw/cut straight lines, draw faces and so many other things. In the last parent teacher conference she told Nate that his is more than ready for PreK. She said he is very smart and she is very impressed with his ability to tell jokes. She said most 4 year olds don't have such advanced humor. Ha! I'm not sure what that means but we'll take it as a good thing.

The other picture is Brixton's friend Connor. We don't know a lot of the kids at his school because it's mostly daycare kids and so all of the parents are pretty scattered and pick everyone up a various times, but Connor's family is one we have gotten to know a little. This two have grown a lot together. They have come from Brixton head butting Connor and making his nose bleed to Connor calling Brixton names that hurt his feelings to friends. Connor has a little brother names Braxton which may be where Brixton's imaginary brother (who has now transformed into a stuffed whale, by the way) came from.

I'm sad he has ended this school year, but I am SOOO excited that he is going to "Big Kid" school next year. This kid loves to learn and I know he's going to do an awesome job.

We have really enjoyed this school and I'm sad that he is going to have to leave. It is a daycare, but now that he's old enough for school he can only stay there IF he goes to their private school. I'm a fan of public school so we are sending him to public school. Now to find a new daycare.
