Ila Pearl -- 2 months old October 28, 2015.
She's growing fast.
13.9lbs -- This kid was within ONE ounce of where Brixton was at his 2 month check up. Crazy.
We are having a blast. She's doing some tummy time and her neck is getting stinger. Although, she likes to fall asleep when we put her on her tummy. She's just so cozy that way.
This month her smiles started. She is such a happy, content baby. She really doesn't get too upset often (unless she's in the car).
She's also a great sleeper (although typing that makes me scared that I'll ruin her streak). She has for several weeks now slept for at least 5-6 hours a night consistently. She has off nights but for the most part we are getting good rest. Last night she slept from about 10:15 until 6 a.m.!
She also got to meet her great grandma. My mom's mom lives in Enid and so we took a trip to see her a few weeks ago. They even matched. That was not planned.
We also took her to her first Thunder game. She did great. It was a little loud but she was only slightly bothered by the screaming.
The second picture here cracks me up, but she sits like this all the time. She loves to cover her face with her hand. She can get that hand unswaddled and will always put it on her face.
She's also been to her first wedding complete with a photo booth experience. So fun!
This sweet little one sure has brought change to our family but at the same time it's so comfortable. I think we are much more relaxed with her than we were when Brixton was a baby. She'll do things that I remember getting worked up about when he was little, but this time I see it as something that I know will pass too soon. I think that helps me to chill. I've really been able to enjoy time with her and Brixton.
