my opinion: Yes, they look okay. Right now they contrast to me. If you are wanting them to coordinate I would go a little lighter in the living room.
Well, the living room is already the dark color and there's no changing that. We have 14-16 foot high ceilings and so getting it painted was a HUGE job! I think I would move before painting that room again.. HA!
