3.2 lbs, Big Head & Pre-Term Labor

In case you can't tell... that's a frown. He frowned when the lady poked. He was hiding his face so she was trying to get him to move.

They said he weighs about 3.2 pounds. They also said he has a big head, nothing to be concerned about it's likely genetic. It was really funny when they told us that because Nate always teases me because I have a huge head.

They said that my amnionic fluid levels are a little high which means I could be at risk for pre-term labor. They said sometimes the high level means there is fluid around the heart, a problem with the brain, a problem between his throat and stomach or a cleft palate. They checked all of those and found nothing. They said sometimes it means nothing and they think that's the case here. They are going to do another ultrasound in three weeks though.

He still likes to cover his face.

This was a cool ultrasound because he made a lot of facial expressions and he even yawned.

Everyone says he looks more like me this time.

They also gave us a 3D picture confirming he's a boy. Not quite sure what I'm supposed to do with that....
