I made this stocking for myself last year.. Nate has one too but I don't have a picture of it. Now I'm working on one for our baby. I'm hoping to have it finished before he gets here.. actually it would be nice to have it done in the next couple of weeks, but I tend to move slow on these things. The babies will have his name on it, but we are keeping the name a secret so don't expect to see that on here anytime soon.

My
Aunt Anita taught me to knit a few years ago. These stockings are really the whole reason I learned. I do make blankets too, but I tend to get bored with projects easily.
I was just looking through some old pictures and found this one. In February we went with the
Cornells to Sake, a restaurant in Norman. Little did we know within a month of taking this picture we would all be pregnant! I'm so glad that I've been able to share this experience with friends and that our babies are due about a week apart.

Nursery update: We gutted the whole thing, but it's coming back together. There are now new walls up. We are just waiting on the guy that does our texture work to come over and the new carpet is on back order but should be here soon. One the texture is done we can paint. I'm still looking for orange curtains. Any ideas? I've had no luck at local fabric stores.

I forgot to give you the mattress pad for when diapers leak. Let me know if you want it and I'll leave it out! I can't believe fabric stores don't carry orange? You can look up some online? May be more expensive though?
I like your stocking. I made all of ours but out of fabric.
I looked at wal-mart dot com and they had two choices for orange curtains.

Check fabric stores again since Halloween is approaching. Don't forget to check the quilting fabric section. They have solids and patterns of every color. There are also specialty quilting stores that have tons of fabrics but they may run a little more expensive. Don't forget about Hobby Lobby. Every once in a while you can get lucky there. Hope this helps!
Oh and don't forget about looking at sheets or tablecloths. They are nice to use because the edges are all ready to go and surely they would have orange tablecloths out for Fall already?
Pier 1 usually carries orange colors and depending on the orange, Kohl's has some sheet sets that are orange too!
