I bought our car seat this weekend. I know, I know I'm supposed to let other people buy the "big" stuff for me, but technically I did. We had a lot of gift cards and money from our Ohio shower and so I used that. Babies R Us had this promotion where you could turn in an old car seat and get 20% off a new one, aka Cash For Car Seats (that's what Nate calls it). My sister had a car seat she wasn't using any more so she gave it to me and I turned it in.. saving $36 on the car seat we had registered for. I even had $5 left over!
Note: After yesterday's comments... Thanks for all the ideas, but just thought I'd let you know I have checked every fabric store I know of in the area we are just a little picky about what we want. I have found some sheets, but most of them are a little too neon or a little too fall. Although Shelly sent me a link to WalMart and those just might be exactly what we are looking for! Thanks shelly
