5 Months

Last Thursday Brixton hit the 5 month mark.

I have to admit I'm a little jealous of my friends who write special letters to their children about what they do each month.. or just great posts talking about those things.

However, I've come to grips with the fact that I just can't get it done and that's OK!

To be honest I don't know exactly what Brixton has done in the past month.. it all blurs together so quickly.

I do remember a few things though.

This month Brixton had his first fever. We thought he was getting sick, then we thought he was teething then it went away... still don't know what happened fever went away and no teeth ever came through. Fortunately, his MeMaw was on Spring Break so she came to hang out with him for a couple days because you can't go to daycare with a fever.

FYI... my mother-in-law is obviously a much more experienced mom. Not only did she take care of B she cleaned my house! and did my laundry! Two things I really struggle to get done.

Brixton has been able to roll from his tummy to his back for a while now, but never could go from his back to his belly. This month he finally did it!!

He actually rolls around :58.

I love how his little bottom stays stuck in the air for so long after rolling... cracks me up!

Maybe he'll have a tooth by the time 6 months rolls around. This week I've been getting about four hours or LESS sleep each night. Brixton is extra fussy, pretty drooly (is that a word??) and VERY attached to me. He also keeps his finger in his mouth ALL the time, and he's waking up about every 2 hours and will scream his little head off unless I nurse him. Fun times!

He was tugging at his ear the other day so we took him to the doctor but they said there's no infection and that he looks fine. He weighs 16 pounds 13 ounces now.. it really does fly by.
