FEVER!!!

in the morning.. fever all through the night..

I sang that song in high school choir.. it's weird and has some very inappropriate lyrics!

Anyway... 100.6 degrees! I don't remember the last time I had a fever. Went to the doctor this morning and turns out I have strep throat, which I also don't remember the last time I had. Maybe when I was 12??? Being sick means I get to wear this...

My Girls State sweatshirt (circa 1999). Nate hates this shirt, but I think it's the most comfortable thing I own. I promised him a few years ago that I wouldn't wear it in public anymore.. but as soon I got home today the shirt went on!! Ahh, so comfortable.

Oh the germs of Channel 4. I'm supposed to anchor Saturday morning so I better get to feeling better soon. In the meantime it's Earl Grey tea and a grilled cheese sandwich (with a smiley face I'm sure, that's the only way Nate makes them. So far Brixton is fine, but I take his temperature like every three hours just in case! Poor kid, crazy mom.

So, guess I'll be random since it's Thursday...

Evidentally tummy time is a family affair

I swear this kid can sit.. I think it counts, even if it is only for like 2 seconds!

The other day we were bathing Brixton (he loves baths by the way) and Nate said, "so when can we have another one of these?" Seriously my body is no where near ready for that! He says babies are so much more fun now than they used to be. He said he used to be a little scared of them.

Well, all I can think about is a daycare post update so I think I'll write a pre-post for tomorrow. I'm sure you can't wait!
