A few weeks ago we re-potty trained Brixton. This time was so easy -- he just knew what to do and decided to do it... most of the time. He was still having a few accidents and so we decided to do like another friend and bribe him. We told him if he would go a whole week with no accidents then he could have his own BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!!!!
He had an accident about two days in, which came with heartbreaking news to this almost three year old -- no buzz. The good news, we let him start over. There was a questionable mishap at school one day (it's complicated) beyond that he went over a week accident free. So, we took him to Target.
This was right after coming home with Buzz. This kid was so stinkin' happy. Everytime it plays the music his little face just lights up and he gets a huge smile. He's even made up words to the music. It's pretty complicated -- he sings Buzz Lightyear, Buzz Lightyear (repeat until music ends).
The day after he got Buzz I let Buzz ride with us to daycare, but said he couldn't stay. Instead Buzz went to work with me (although I left him right there in the car seat all day).
They eat together, sleep together and go everywhere together.
In other almost three year old news... Brixton promoted to the three year old class at daycare last week. It was a little sad but he was SOOO excited.
This is Ms. Alecia. She has been his teacher since we moved to Midwest City. We LOVE her. She is so sweet and loving to him. He would even look forward to going to see her.
We are sad to leave her, but excited that some of his good friends are in the new class, specifically a little boy named Jace and a girl Jenson. They are his favorites and I'm glad they can all play together again. He has missed them in the last couple months since they promoted.
