Well, we were all ready to get wallpaper -- even picked some out -- then came reality. Did you know wallpaper is ridiculously expensive!! Like more than $1500 to buy enough paper and have it installed. That's just for ONE wall!!! So out went that idea and in set frustration. I just cannot justify spending that much money on ONE wall.

I love the stacked wood look.
The problem, I don't think it will work for our entry because we want to put in wood floors and it might be a little much.
However, there is another area -- the wall coming up from the basement where it just might work! Now figuring out how to make it happen. There aren't very many (really just one) DIY tutorials.

Love these! I have to send you a picture of what Erick is doing with two walls in our bedroom. Similar, but with old barn siding. It's so cool!
