I'm a Superpower!

I love this kid and his imagination! Brixton's new thing is "Super Powers." He says, "Momma, I'm a superpower." See the little basketball sticker on his shirt... that's the superpower button. Everytime he pushes it he makes a little "ch" sound and that means his wings are out. He then will fly around the room and eventually put his wings away with the same little "ch" sound effect.
This weekend my parents stopped by and I tried to get him to show them but he acted really shy. The funny part was I pushed his "superpower" button and then he immediately pushed his wings down and then pushed the button. He did that two or three times. He never forgets to put his wings away. Cracks me up.

I love this age. He's so curious and helpful. He likes to be a helper. He's even helped me with dinner some lately.
This weekend we hosted Q-group and he learned how to dust, vaccuum and wash windows. He even helped me wipe down the floors (our floor is impossible to clean so it takes hand scrubbing because my Swiffer just doesnt' get it clean). I can see the light at the end of that tunnel where I can get my kids to do chores and my life gets a little easier!

My parents, Brixton and I went to a little car show in Midwest City and they had a Mater truck so we had to take a picture.  Too bad his eyes are closed.
Even Super Heroes need their sleep.
I love how sweet he looks in this picture. The Cars pillow, the football, the arms behind his head and, of course, the superpower button -- such a little boy.

Your Brixton is a super cute kid! I love all the things (funny and insightful) that he says in Bible class.
